Commercial HVAC Services in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee

Patriot Mechanical responds to commercial HVAC emergencies around the clock, every day of the year. Response times in the Louisville metro are typically within a few hours, depending on call volume. When you call (502) 755-5287, a technician — not a dispatcher — picks up and gives you a real arrival window before the call ends.

Patriot Mechanical installs and services rooftop packaged units, split systems, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, VAV systems, and commercial mini-splits. The team works across healthcare, restaurant, industrial, warehouse, and municipal facility types. If a commercial or industrial HVAC system moves air, we service it.

Yes. Patriot Mechanical holds active mechanical contractor licenses in Kentucky and Indiana, and the company carries the insurance and bonding required for commercial and industrial HVAC work. Licensing documentation is available on request for procurement and compliance purposes.

Commercial rooftop units in Louisville should be serviced a minimum of twice per year — spring and fall — to prepare for peak cooling and heating demands. Units serving high-occupancy or high-process-heat environments benefit from quarterly service. Running a rooftop unit without regular maintenance shortens compressor life and voids most manufacturer warranties.

The most common causes of sudden rooftop unit failure are refrigerant leaks that go undetected until the compressor burns out; clogged condenser coils that force the system to run over capacity; failed capacitors or contactors; and control board faults triggered by voltage fluctuations. Most of these failures are preventable with a consistent inspection and maintenance schedule.
